Directing a movie is to
let your suppressed soul scream on the screen.

And first of all, let me tell you a short tragic story. Once there was a child who loved painting more than anything in this world. He convinced himself that ART is his thing. And one day when he was scribbling and stroking paints passionately on a paper his parents saw it, they took that paper, Ripped IT INTO PIECES and told the boy that ART is not meant for typical middle-class families like theirs. The boy being so naive believed his parents and threw all his colours into a drainage canal and stood there with a dreadful tightness in his chest while his sad eyes stared at his colourful dreams flowing away in that gutter. ​

Well, It's me, I am that boy who threw away the colours that day. But the story doesn't end there because my fascination for ART has never left my heart. And that fascination evoked my passion for writing and my obsession with movies. While I worked in digital marketing as a content writer, and copywriter for nearly a year and a half after finishing my engineering degree I developed the skills to write and direct short films and advertisements as well. I have also done theatre workshops and performed multiple characters in one stage play as an actor. Despite loving every aspect of filmmaking, I am most passionate about writing and directing. Also as a writer and director, I believe the process of making a movie for me is also the process of expressing my inner soul in the form of moving images.

​To make it brief, it was my love for art that first ignited my passion for cinema and now my passion for cinema set me on this never-ending journey of being a filmmaker. And this time the child in me is never going to throw away his colours.
